Mental Illness is a blessing from God.
If you or someone you know is experiencing mental illness than this is for you. It can be very difficult for those afflicted with mental illness to find peace in life. Depression, Anxiety, and other mental health problems can ruin or negatively affect our lives. Anybody suffering from mental illness should check out my twitter page Awake Afflicted Jerusalem because God's word has a lot of comforting scriptures to those suffering. Since I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, most my attention will be placed on helping those with schizophrenia. However, anybody suffering with any mental illness will be helped by my writings. Schizophrenics are in fear constantly and have trouble functioning to the best of their ability. Often they find that medications and therapy do little to help them. This is because mental illness is a condition that comes from God and only God can cure it. Furthermore, mental illness is not evolutionary bad luck, but rather a blessing from God. The chosen people of God are not Christians, Muslims, or Jews. Instead, they are the afflicted people of this world, God calls Jerusalem. Knowing you will be rewarded for your suffering throughout all eternity will put you in a pleasant mental state. Yes, you might have to endure pain in this life, but in the end God will reward you. Unfortunately, hardly anybody is feeding God’s people. Instead, they feed themselves and twist teachings in order to make money, and gain favor with evil men. Unfortunately, it’s not just religious leaders that twist God’s teachings, but society as large has abandoned God’s word. There is as scripture that talks about a famine in the land, not of the wanting of bread, nor of a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of God. The mental ill, instead of being honored as survivors, are seen as a drain on society. Even if you don’t except my teaching that being afflicted is a sign of God’s unwavering love. I wanted to mention one of these verses because it is a powerful passage for the afflicted. Look at Isaiah 54: 10-11 “For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest and not comforted, behold I will lay thy foundations with sapphires.”God has a covenant with us and a promise of future glory and blessing. This is an awesome promise from God and God cannot lie. I encourage all readers to get a King James bible and read as often as you can. I would skip many of the first books in God’s word and start with Jeremiah. Spend the rest of your time reading Job through Malachi. Once you seek God with your whole heart, God will crown you with knowledge and understanding. He will strengthen you and fill your life with joy and satisfaction.
